Dr Deborah Kong
Deborah was born and raised in Canberra and moved to Adelaide to study dentistry at University of Adelaide. She previously worked in Sydney before joining the Modern Dentistry team in May 2010. Deborah enjoys practising all aspects of dentistry and loves working with children. She is committed to providing high quality dental care which is tailored to each individual patient. Her focus is on preventive dental care and she enjoys working together with each patient to achieve their dental goals and establish excellent oral health. Deborah has completed the SomnoMed course and has attended lectures on snoring and sleep disorder therapy including the use of mandibular advancement devices/splints to manage this condition.
She is a SomnoMed Dental Sleep Professional. Deborah firmly believes in continuing education and attends courses regularly to keep up to date with the rapidly changing world of dentistry. Since 2011 Deborah has been serving on the ACT Dental Group Committee as both secretary and general committee member. She also sits on the Australia Dental Association (ACT branch) committee. Deborah enjoys reading, watching movies, travelling and is an avid theatre goer. Deborah speaks Cantonese.
